What TALORD Arena keeps about you, why, and how to erase all of it. Updated 30 September 2026.
Who we are
TALORD Arena is a game made and run by TaLord. Privacy questions: [email protected].
What we keep
- Your account: character name, password (only as a bcrypt hash, never in plain text), and your e-mail if you added one.
- Game progress: heroes, levels, gear, gold, jewels, quests, rank, clan.
- Anti-cheat logs: trades, market, upgrades and admin actions, plus a salted hash of your IP address (not the address itself).
- Clan chat and technical error reports from the game (no personal details).
- Staying logged in: one login cookie (talord_sess, HttpOnly, this site only) keeps you logged in on the site and in the browser game. With "Remember me" your username (never the password) is also saved on the device. No ad or tracking cookies.
Why
- To run the game and save your progress.
- Your e-mail is used only for logging in, confirming the account and password resets. Other players never see it.
- To stop cheating, trade scams and floods.
What we don't do
- No ads, no third-party analytics, no tracking.
- We never sell or share your data with anyone.
- The app asks for no location, contacts, camera or microphone permission.
Where and for how long
The data lives on the game server. The connection is encrypted (HTTPS). Daily backups are kept for 14 days and then deleted, so a deleted account is gone from the backups within 14 days.
Deleting your account
In the game: Profile → Delete my account, type DELETE and confirm with your password. Everything is erased right away: heroes, gear, gold, quests, e-mail and password. No access to the game? Here is how to ask for deletion by e-mail.
Children
The game never asks for a real name, age or location, and an e-mail is optional. A parent who wants a child's account removed can write to us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
